SUMMARY:Kevin Richardson\, Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma
DESCRIPTION:Kevin Richardson\, owner of Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma\, will be our speaker for February. From fundraising to franchise ownership – come hear how Kevin transitioned to entrepreneurship! \nAbout Kevin Richardson\nKevin Richardson\, CDP\, is the owner of Seniors Helping Seniors and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). He founded Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services to enable seniors to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes for as long as possible. Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership and community development; bringing together caring individuals and organizations to provide hope for those in need. \nBefore launching Seniors Helping Seniors\, Kevin served as Director of Corporate Partnerships for Feed the Children. Kevin also served as Vice President for University Development for Southwestern Christian University\, Vice President for Advancement at University of the Southwest\, Director of Alumni Relations at Central Bible College and was the Director of Campus Ministry for Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University and Oklahoma State University. \nKevin holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Central Bible College and a Master of Arts in theological studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He is a Certified Homecare Administrator and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Additionally\, he has taken a leadership role in a number of local service organizations serving as an assistant district governor for Rotary District 5750\, past-president of the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club\, a worship leader at Acts 2 United Methodist Church\, and as the unit chaplain for Troop 226 of the Boy Scouts of America. \nKevin and his wife Jennifer have been married for 29 years and have three children: Emma\, Eli\, and Josiah. \nAbout Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma\nSeniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma was founded to employ active\, compassionate seniors who enjoy helping others and match them with less active seniors who need assistance to live independently and safely in their residence of choice.\n \nAs an in-home care company\, our Senior Caregivers provide all the services necessary to maintain the home (light housekeeping\, shopping\, laundry\, errands\, etc.) and to assist the individual (companionship\, meal preparation\, medication reminders\, personal care\, dementia care\, etc.) Each of our clients receives a care plan that is tailored to their needs so that we can ensure their independence and support allowing them to live the life they desire in the home of their choice.\n \nWhile there are many companies that assist people in their homes\, we are the only company that EXCLUSIVELY employs seniors as our caregivers. These individuals are often retired\, desire to stay active and enjoy helping others. Their lifetime of experience and their understanding of the aging process enable them to provide the compassionate care and attention that only those who have experienced it can. Our caregivers form lasting friendships with our clients\, and both benefit equally from the time they spend together.\n \nWe often remark\, “It’s like getting a little help from a friend”.\n \nOur services are available any time or day of the week up to 24/7 care and we have some of the lowest minimums in the industry.

SUMMARY:Networking Workshop & Happy Hour
DESCRIPTION:OKPSA is proud to present a Networking Workshop & Happy Hour for our members and community. We will have light snacks\, some beer\, and wine. \nWe’d love to see you there! \nSchedule\n4:00 PM – 4:30 PM | Sign-in\, Networking\, Happy Hour4:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Session5:30 PM – 6:00 PM | Free to leave at 5:30\, or stay and continue networking \nSession Topic\nHow to Build Your Network. \nInvestment\nThe event is free for OKPSA members and will be $30.00 for non-members. \nAbout Ryan Jacob\nHe has spent the past 20+ years building sales engines\, closing big deals\, and developing teams that know how to win. Now\, as President at GRA Services International\, he helps utilities and telecom providers avoid costly replacements by offering innovative structural repair solutions for utility poles and other assets\, without taking lines out of service. \nGRA Services International serves the folks keeping the lights on and the lines running: electric co-ops\, municipalities\, telecom providers\, fence installers\, and more. Whether it’s wood rot\, lightning\, or a runaway truck\, he and his team help strengthen and restore what others might replace\, saving up to 90% in the process. \nHe leads with a servant mindset\, backed by systems thinking and Sandler training\, and he has never met a spreadsheet or sales playbook he couldn’t make better. At GRA\, he is driving growth by expanding markets\, refining sales processes\, and delivering measurable value to clients across the country. \nWhen he is not talking utility structure integrity or coaching sales reps\, he is mentoring future sales pros at UCO\, serving on the Oklahoma Professional Sales Association board\, or tending to a brisket on his Traeger.
